La Guatusa, or the Agouti, is native to Costa Rica and Central America. It is often thought of as just a rodent but is quintessential in regenerating the ecosystem with new growth.

Process

Illustration
Each project begins with hand drawn illustration inspired by the native environment.

Design
The illustration is then digitally re-drawn for the specific type of fabrication material.

Fabrication
Using a series of hand and machine made processes, the final sculpture is produced from select materials ranging from wood to steel.
We partner with local suppliers. Each sculpture is fully customizable, from colors to scale, and are all UV sealed for protection. We deliver and install.
